To provide carbon composite molded products that are lighter and stronger than metallic products with stable quality at as reasonable prices as possible, we established Carbon Magic Thailand. Various molded products for aircraft, automobiles, motorcycles, and industrial equipment are developed, designed, and prototyped in Japan and mass-produced in Thailand. To meet the increasing demand for the mass production of composite products, we constructed a new factory in Thailand in 2016. The whole of the new factory is laid out mainly aiming at improvement of productivity and stabilization of quality. Use of cutting-edge equipment allows us to further reduce the costs of high-precision products for stable mass production that cannot be achieved domestically. We meet customer needs by pursuing the business model of speedy development in Japan and effective mass production in Thailand.

Carbon Magic Thailand (CMTH) is a joint corporation of Toray Industries, Inc., Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd. and the Saha Group in Thailand. CMTH joined the Toray Group together with Toray Carbon Magic in April 2013. (The predecessor of CMTH, Dome Composite (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in September 2005.) To cope with the rapidly increasing demand for composite molding products, CMTH constructed a new factory with a capacity 10 times greater than the former factory in 2016. CMTH prepares systems to meet the various needs.

The whole of the new factory constructed in 2016 is laid out optimally mainly aiming at the improvement of productivity and stabilization of quality. The factory establishes an environment to stably mass-produce products developed in Japan by being equipped with the latest autoclaves, cutting machines, and robotic processing machines. CMTH will continuously make efforts to improve productive capacity, stabilize quality, and reduce costs of highly functional and high-performance composite products to prepare for a further increase in production.

Location
Carbon Magic Thailand is located in Saha Industrial Park (Amphoe Sri Racha County, Chonburi Prefecture) where there are many Japanese companies. To CMTH, it takes approximately 75 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bangkok City, 20 minutes from Amphoe Sri Racha County, 45 minutes from Phatthaya City by car. By virtue of its proximity to Laem Chabang Port (20 minutes by car), it is convenient to export products to Japan and overseas bases.
