Toray Carbon Magic Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “TCM”) acquired certification from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (Nadcap*), which is the special process approval program in the international aerospace industry, to ensure the compliance of our composite materials special processes with the requirements.

TCM has acquired the certification of AS9100 (per JIS Q 9100 Quality Management Systems-Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organizations). With the certification, it is proven that our composite material manufacturing processes satisfy the aerospace industry’s quality requirements imposed on the special processes. TCM intends to acquire certification for the nondestructive inspection (NDI) process and establish the integrated system for the manufacturing of aircraft parts early. Our ability and philosophy to satisfy the quality requirements that are proved with these certifications can be applied to the quality of other CFRP products, such as automobile parts. We will make further efforts to continuously improve and stabilize product quality.


*Nadcap is the only international certification program for special processes in the aerospace industry. To perform the special processes of products relating to the aerospace industry, certification from Nadcap is indispensable. To obtain the certification, high-level quality control and audit systems are required.
