Toray and TCM support the fabrication of the Tokai Challenger, a solar car created by Tokai University, in terms of the design and fabrication of the CFRP structure and composite material. In the preliminary competition, Tokai University took 13th place. On the first day of the final competition, Tokay University jumped into the lead from the start and finished the race in second place. The difference from the top team, Nuon Solar Team, was approximately 8 minutes. The team kept first place within the target zone. They fought for first place fiercely on the second and successive days.
